Shi Yuejun, a man convicted of killing 12 people and injuring five others in northeast China's Jilin Province, was executed. Shi, 36, was convicted of intentional homicide by Liuhe County People's Court on November 25.

Shi, anxious to get revenge for slights he had suffered in the past, killed seven people and injured four others in Liuhe and nearby Tonghua County on September 24.
While attempting to evade capture in Liuhe over the next five days, he killed five more people and injured another.
