CHINA. STATE EXECUTES MAN FOR MURDERS

Zhang Xianguang, 39, was executed immediately after a public trial in Shenyang, Liaoning Province, for killing seven people and injuring 11 in a series of robberies. Additionally, he killed another man during a dispute. Earlier in the year, his two brothers, Zhang Xianming, 37, and Zhang Xianhui, 28, and brothers Li Yanbo, 29, and Li Yanbin, 26, were executed for the robbery spree involving the two families. The Zhang's and Li's were from Heilongjiang Province.
