Chinese national Jin Yugang, 37, was executed by hanging in Changi Prison, Singapore, after being convicted of stabbing roommate and colleague Wang Hong to death after a violent quarrel at a restaurant on February 4, 2002.
Mr Wang died on the spot and Jin was arrested at the scene.
He was found guilty of murder after a nine-day trial in January 2003.
