CZECH REPUBLIC. MOST CZECHS FOR CAPITAL PUNISHMENT – POLL

57 percent of Czechs want capital punishment to exist in the Czech Republic, according to a poll conducted by the CVVM public opinion agency in October. Some 30 percent were against the notion and 13 percent gave no opinion. Compared to a similar survey conducted by the CVVM in March, the number of proponents of the penalty fell by nine percent.
