Eight criminals, convicted of charges including robbery and murder, were executed in the Chinese capital of Beijing. Liu Baojiang, Guo Lianchun, Liu Zhihui, Zhang Qi, Song Tiezhu, Chen Xishan, Hou Zhiyong and Dong Ling were executed after being sentenced in the No. 2 Intermediate People's Court of Beijing. Six of the executed prisoners were natives of Beijing, and the other two were from Henan Province, central China. Dong, unemployed, was the only woman among them.
