Faisal Alam Ansari, 42, his brother Saiful Alam Ansari and Rana Ahmed were sentenced to death by a court in Bangladesh for murdering business partner Humayun Kabir at Dhanmondi in 1999. Only Faisal was present in court as the other two had been on the run since the time of the crime. The prosecution alleged that Faisal Alam Ansari shot dead his close friend and oil business partner on November 21, 1999 with the motive of obtaining the victim's property in the USA.
