Forensic experts found the remains of 16 people believed to be victims of the Srebrenica massacre in a mass grave identified by a Bosnian Serb commission. "So far we have found the remains of 16 men. According to the information provided by the commission they were Muslims summarily executed by Serb forces after the fall of Srebrenica," the head of the Bosnian Muslim commission for missing people, Amor Masovic, said. The Bosnian Serb commission named the site at Sandici as one of 32 mass graves containing victims of the July 1995 murder of more than 7,000 Muslim men and boys by Serb forces. The bodies were buried in a concrete ditch near the village of Sandici, outside Srebrenica. Family photos, watches and civilian clothing were found along with the skeletons. In its final report last week the commission said Serb forces committed the massacre and then tried to cover it up. It was the first time Bosnian Serb authorities had admitted that Serb forces were responsible.
