In April, Egyptian prosecutors finished questioning 7 suspected Muslim militants who were deported from Arab and other countries, and will send them to court soon. The men are accused of belonging to the militant Jihad (Holy War) group and blowing up Egypt's embassy in Islamabad in 1996, charges likely to attract the death penalty if they are found guilty. They were handed over earlier this year to Egypt by Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and South Africa.
