the third and fourth accused in the Praveen murder case were sentenced to death by hanging by the Kottayam Fast Track Court (II) in India. Priyan, 32, and Sunil, 32, both of Palluruthy, were found guilty of murdering 24 year old Praveen two years ago by Additional District Judge M.K. Shaji. The first two accused in the case, one a former Deputy Superintendent of Police, were sentenced to life imprisonment on January 4, 2006. The court heard the men strangled Praveen on February 15, 2005, then decapitated him and chopped his limbs off to avert identification.
