INDIA: DEATH SENTENCE FOR MURDER

at the Poonamallee Fast Track Court-I in Kancheepuram, India, Judge R. V. R. Dheenadhayalan sentenced Jayakumar to death and fined him Rs. 5000 and sentenced him to 10 years imprisonment for murdering Jayamala, Mogappair, Chennai, on December 12, 2007, and stealing 8 sovereigns of jewellery.
