INDIA: FEMALE SERIAL KILLER 'CYANIDE MALLIKA' GETS DEATH SENTENCE

female serial killer "Cyanide Mallika," charged with murdering five elderly women over the last eight years for gain, was awarded the death sentence by a Fast Track Court in Tumkur, India. Judge Kempanna Gouder sentenced K D Kempamma, alias Mallika, 44, to death. Posing as a pious lady acquainted with religious rituals, Mallika used to befriend well-to-do women devotees frequenting the temples. She would suggest that rituals be done by her at a temple. She would later mix cyanide in their food and then leave with their valuables.
