According to the report received by Hengaw, at dawn on Monday, 8 May 2023, the death sentence of Mohammad Ahmadi, a 45-year-old Baloch citizen from Kohnuj, Kerman province, was carried out in Isfahan prison.
According to haalvsh.org, he was arrested 3 years ago on charges related to drugs and sentenced to death by the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Court in Isfahan.
The same day, the death sentence of Yaser Rakhshani, 29 years old, from Zahedan, was carried out in the prison of this city. He was arrested two years ago and then sentenced to death on charges of intentional murder.
Also on May 8, the death sentence of 37-year-old Yunus Rigi Rakhshani, another Baloch citizen and a resident of Zahedan, was executed in Adel Abad prison in Shiraz. He was also arrested and sentenced to death for drug-related charges.
Based on the statistics registered in the Statistics and Documents Center of Hengaw, at least 25 Baloch citizens, including two women, have been executed in Iran's prisons in the past 11 days.
