It was reported that Indian Health Minister Sushma Swaraj said he wanted the death penalty for manufacturers of "spurious drugs". In a closed door meeting with the Confederation of Indian Industry, Swaraj announced "mass murder for the sake of profit should be treated only by one law, the death penalty."
