JORDAN. COURT SENTENCES FUGITIVE ISRAELIS IN MURDER CASE

the Jordanian Supreme Criminal Court handed down sentences in absentia against three Israeli defendants after convicting them of premeditated murder, being an accessory to murder and inciting premeditated murder.
The court sentenced one defendant to death by hanging and the two others to 15 years imprisonment with hard labour. The verdicts were subject to a retrial in view of the fact that the three defendants were fugitives. The court also sentenced a Jordanian citizen, who was in custody, to 15 years imprisonment after convicting him of being an accessory to premeditated murder.
