Lee Yihsiung a Taiwan drug trafficker was executed at the Taipei Prison, five years after he was arrested and escorted back to Taiwan from Thailand. Lee Yi-hsiung was the first drug trafficker who was put to death under the execution order signed by Minister of Justice Chen Ting-nan after Chen announced on May 20th the planned policy of scrapping the death penalty within three years.
