Libyan leader Col Mu'ammar al-Qadhafi called on ousted Afghan President Borhanoddin Rabbani to rein in Northern Alliance troops in Kabul, the Libyan news agency Jana reported.
Islamic morals did not allow the bodies of those who were killed to be mutilated, or prisoners to be executed or those who surrender to be finished off, the agency quoted Qadhafi as saying.
Qadhafi asked Rabbani to intervene and order his troops to stop what he called "this repugnant behaviour".
