MALAYSIA: MAN SENT TO GALLOWS FOR DRUG TRAFFICKING

a 26 year old unemployed man was sentenced to death by the Malaysian High Court for drug trafficking. Fiaz Ahamed Ibrahim was found guilty of trafficking 915g of cannabis at a toll plaza in Puchong in March 2003. Judge Datuk Mohd Zaki Md Yasin decided after hearing the testimonies of nine prosecution witnesses and one defence witness.
