T. Paramasparan, a 28-year-old petty trader, was sentenced to death by a High Court in the Malaysian city of Shah Alam for murdering his 25-year-old pregnant wife, S. Mageswary on Oct 28, 2002. She was eight months pregnant at the time of the incident. He was charged under Section 302 of the Penal Code, which is punishable by the mandatory death sentence, on Nov 8, the same year, in a Klang Magistrate.
