Municipal police forces were the answer to the current spate of attacks on South African farms, Democratic Alliance leader Tony Leon said. Responding to a question from a farmer Leon said the death penalty was not the answer to the country's current woes - even though he believed it was backed by the majority of DA supporters and representatives. "The biggest problem is that about 50 percent of murderers in this country are never caught," he said.
