The historic event will bring together MVFR family members and supporters from around the country - including victims' advocates, scholars, legal professionals, and others - to explore alternatives to capital punishment and effective ways to heal in the aftermath of homicide. The conference will feature a number of special events, more than 30 workshops, and presentations by Arun Gandhi and Sister Helen Prejean.
