Additional District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Iteffaq Abbasi awarded the death sentence to an accused and acquitted another in a murder case in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. Muhammad Nouman and Muhammad Irfan were charged with killing Muhammad Kamran on August 30, 2008. The court awarded the death penalty and a Rs50,000 as fine to Irfan, and acquitted another Nouman. Muhammad Kamran was killed over a petty dispute.
