Palestinian TV broadcast a 37-minute film entitled "Janingrad, the witness and the martyr" on the Jenin incidents in early April 2002, which the Palestinians call "a massacre" perpetrated by Israeli troops.
The commentary included in the film was prepared and read by TV newscaster Ibrahim Milhim.
The film showed Israeli tanks surrounding the Jenin camp and advancing towards it. Israeli helicopter gunships were also shown bombing the camp. Various eyewitnesses, dead bodies, rubble, Palestinians shooting and international delegations, including a UN one, were shown in the documentary.
Ibrahim Milhim, the TV newscaster, said that the Israeli soldiers carried out summary executions in the camp. He said that the Israeli army was ordered to murder Palestinians, not to capture or wound them.
