Peter J. Miniel has been executed tonight. He choose not to seek further appeals. He was convicted in 1988 for the May 1986 murder and robbery of 20-year-old Paul Manier. Miniel had confessed to the crime. Miniel's execution was the 15th this year in Texas and the 47th in the USA.
