A man sentenced to death over 20 years ago for killing a woman has been given a new prison sentence. Noe Beltran was sentenced to death for the shooting death of Carmen Arechiga. However, an appeals court ruled his lawyer was incompetent and granted him another trial. After pleading guilty to a lesser charge of murder, Belton was given life in prison.
