The Director of Information and Broadcasting, Andrew Sesinyi, blamed his department for the failure to broadcast a documentary on Marietta Bosch, and exonerated the Office of the President, which ordered the last minute cancellation of the documentary."The programme was produced without the knowledge of the head of BTV and without the knowledge of the director of the department. Subsequently, the tape was advertised or promoted extensively, more than any other programme ever produced by BTV. The Office of the President, as the stakeholder, inquired as to whether the department had taken all the necessary measures to ensure that the recording would not render us liable to litigation by any individual or party."He added that had the matter been cleared with the Attorney General, BTV would have been able to convince Office of the President that they were no litigation problems.
