The father of death-row convict Dhananjoy Chatterjee criticised President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam's decision to reject his son's clemency plea, saying the move was "unfair and unjust". "I can't believe this. How could the president reject my son's plea even after he has spent 14 years in jail?"
