The High Court in Lira, Uganda, sentenced Tonny Oguna, Joel Ogwang and Lawrence Otyek to death after finding them guilty of robbing a man at gunpoint in Alito in 2001.
In the same court, Justice Mary Engena Maitum sentenced Patrick Omodo to death for murder.
Omodo was found guilty of killing Kacalina Akech at Abedi village in Apac in 2000.
The convicts were taken to Lira Central Prison pending transfer to Luzira where they were due to be put on death row.
