the Meizhou Intermediate People's Court in Guangdong Province, China, sentenced Wei Maochao and Wu Yunqing to death and life imprisonment respectively for the murder of Chen Jinrong, director of the Meizhou Electricity Supply Bureau. On 24 February 2004, the suspects killed Chen on the street, the newspaper reported.
