The [Palestinian] Preventive Security Services arrested Majdi Muhammad Makawi, 28, who was suspected of being behind the assassination of four of the Fatah movement's cadres . His confessions had been recorded on a special videotape in which he announced that he confessed without any coercion.
As soon as they learned of the news, the people of Rafah gathered at Al-Awdah Circle and the major streets to demand his execution.
