The Tajik Supreme Court sentenced Mustafakul Boimurodov and Sadritdin Fatkhutdinov, the organizers and perpetrators of a terrorist attack on a Korean religious mission to Dushanbe, to death. Two blasts in the Christian missionary centre killed 9 people and injured over 40 others on October 1, 2000.Boimurodov and Fatkhutdinov, former students of the Islamic institute in Dushanbe, have been charged with terrorism, banditry, the fuelling of ethnic and religious tension, and illegal storage of explosives and arms.
