Two brothers were sentenced by a court for murder. Sultan Mia, was sentenced to death whilst his brother Chand Mia, was sentenced to a life term of rigorous imprisonment and fined Tk 5,000. According to the prosecution, the convicts stabbed their neighbour Farhad, 22, to death following a dispute over a road on July 27, 1999.
