Two men were sentenced to death for murdering the business partner of one of the men's wife. The High Court imposed the sentence on policeman Harcharan Singh, 36, and his wife's cousin, labourer Jasber Singh, 31, after finding them guilty of murdering Shaikh Abdul Rub Samdani Siddiqi, a Pakistani lodge operator. The murder took place at a house in Taman Desa Aman, Sungai Buloh, on March 1, 1996.
