the Ugandan High Court in Bushenyi district sentenced two brothers to death for the murder of a boda-boda cyclist. Milton Biryomumaisho, 40, and Alex Asiimwe, 30, of Kizinda village, allegedly murdered Leonard Muganzi in August 2004 before robbing him of his motorcycle. Justice Lawrence Gidudu said Muganzi was hit with an object on the head and his eyes crushed. Before Muganzi died at Mbarara Hospital, he had made a statement with the Police.Muganzi's motorcycle, he added, was recovered, after six months, with Didas Namara, a brother of the convicts. Namara was killed by a mob of boda-boda motorcyclists upon the recovery of the motorcycle.
