USA - Alabama. Judge Jacob Walker sentenced Gregory Lance Henderson, white, to death

Judge Jacob Walker overruled the jury's recommendation and sentenced Gregory Lance Henderson, white, to death by lethal injection in the Lee County Circuit Court. In October 2011, a jury convicted Henderson in the capital murder of Lee County Sheriff's Deputy James Anderson and in a 9-to-3 vote recommended life with parole. Henderson ran over Deputy Anderson with his car during a routine traffic stop on September 24, 2009.
