USA - Arizona. A jury sentenced Benjamin Cota to death

A Maricopa County Superior Court jury sentenced Benjamin Cota, 47, to death. On July 15 he was found guilty of two counts of first-degree murder in the December 2003 deaths of  Victor Martinez, 73, and Guadalupe Zavala, 40. But the jury could reach a unanimous decision for the death penalty only for Zavala's murder.
