USA - California. A jury is recommending the death penalty for Michael Walters.

A Kings County jury is recommending the death penalty for Michael Walters. Jurors found that he had murdered Arturo Avila, seemingly without a reason, while serving a life sentence at California State Prison Corcoran in 2010. Walters, 33, was in Corcoran prison for killing a man in Sacramento in 1995, and that maked him eligible for the death penalty in the current case. Sentencing was set for June 25.
