USA - Nevada. The U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit has overturned the murder conviction of Paul Browning

In a 2-1 decision, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit has overturned the murder conviction of death-row prisoner Paul Browning, Black. The court ruled that the prosecution had unconstitutionally failed to disclose exculpatory evidence and that Browning's trial counsel had been ineffective for failing to conduct an adequate investigation into the circumstances of the case. According to prosecutors, on November 8, 1985, Browning robbed and stabbed to death Hugo Elsen at Elsen's jewelry store in Las Vegas.
