A Tulsa County jury has recommended that Raymond Johnson be put to death. Raymond Eugene Johnson, 35, was convicted of setting a house on fire to cover up the murders of his ex-girlfriend Brooke Whitaker, 24, and 7-month-old Kya Whitaker. Police say Johnson confessed to the slayings on video tape, but the defense also argued that the confession may have been coerced by the police.
