William Clifford Bryson, 29, black, was put to death by lethal injection. He was the ninth person to be executed in the State during the year, the 28th since the State resumed executions in 1990. He was the 47th to be put to death in the U.S. during the year and No 645 since the death penalty was re-introduced in 1976.
