With approval from the Supreme People's Court of China, brothers Liao Shaohui and Liao Shaowu, both in their thirties, were executed after being convicted of forging value-added invoices

With approval from the Supreme People's Court of China, brothers Liao Shaohui and Liao Shaowu, both in their thirties, were executed after being convicted of forging value-added invoices.
It was alleged that, using a fake identity card, Liao Shaowu, the younger brother, registered the Beijing Huahui Xincheng Economic and Trade Co Ltd in Fengtai District in October of 2000.
The court found that the two, in collusion with others and in the name of Huahui company, made fake receipts to the value of 154m yuan (18.62m US dollars).
All personal property of the brothers was confiscated.
