Xinhua news agency reported that nine criminals "convicted of murder and robbery" were sentenced to death by the Second Intermediate People's Court of Beijing and immediately executed.
"Chen Rongguang, a Beijing man, shot a person who lent him money for gambling. A man from Henan Province named Fu Anhua killed a person after failing to cheat him with counterfeit money.
