A human rights committee in Britain said that the Libyan security forces had executed three of the eight Islamists that Jordanian authorities extradited to Libya in January 2000. In a statement, the London-based Islamic Observation Centre said that the Libyan authorities sent the eight Islamists to Abu al-Saym prison near Tripoli, immediately after they arrived from Jordan. The statement, however, did not say when the three Islamic activists were executed.
