A Lebanese military court sentenced six men convicted of spying for Israel. One of the defendants, who was tried in absentia received was given a death sentence. The men had been arrested earlier in the year and accused of running a spy network that gave Israel information on Hizbollah activities, as well as on Lebanese and Syrian military positions and certain Lebanese political figures and financial institutions.
