A Malaysian court charged an Australian woman with carrying heroin in transit under a law carrying a maximum sentence of five years in jail rather than the death sentence for traffickers. Yugoslav-born Gordana Parezanovic, 47, was arrested at Kuala Lumpur airport with three kg of suspected heroin hidden in her corset and underpants during a 30 minute stopover between flights from Vienna to Sydney.
