A military court in Hebron sentenced a member of the Palestinian National Security Forces to death by firing squad after finding him guilty of murder.
Palestinian radio said Imad Fulayfil had confessed to the crime. He was found guilty of the premeditated murder of his colleague Sergeant Isa Abd-al-Aziz al-Suwayti on September 19, the radio said.
"The verdict should be endorsed by President Yasir Arafat", the radio added.
