A Yemeni appeals court confirmed a death sentence handed down to Abed Abdulrazzak al-Kamel for the murder of three US missionaries a year ago.
Kamel who was sentenced to death on May 10, was also convicted of wounding a fourth missionary in the attack last December 30 in the town of Jibla, near Ibb.
He was arrested immediately after the shooting of the Americans, the first major anti-US attack in Yemen since the October 2000 assault on the USS Cole in the southern port of Aden that left 17 American sailors dead.
