BANGLADESH: 5 AWARDED DEATH SENTENCE FOR KILLING MAN IN NARSINGDI

five people, including four brothers, were sentenced to death and three others to life term imprisonment by a court in Narsingdi, Bangladesh. Mujibor, Hossain Ali and his three brothers Abdul Khalek, Abdul Based and Suruj Miah were all sentenced to death and fined Tk 20,000 each by Additional District and Sessions Judge AKM Abul Kashem. The men allegedly hacked M Mozammel Haq from Nazarpur village in Raipura upazila to death on January 30, 1985, following a previous enmity.
