Hafizur Rahman, a 36 year old Bangladeshi man convicted of killing his wife and two sons, was condemned to death for the triple-murder

Hafizur Rahman, a 36 year old Bangladeshi man convicted of killing his wife and two sons, was condemned to death for the triple-murder. According to prosecution, Hafiz killed his wife Rokeya Begum, 30, with a chopper at 9am on 9 May 2002 following an altercation with her over money he earned abroad. "As his two sons woke and saw their mother being murdered, Hafiz also killed them," the prosecution said. The two slain siblings were 11-year-old Fahim Hasan and eight-month-old Fahim Hossain.
