It was reported that the Intermediate People's Court in Shijiazhuang, capital of Hebei, sentenced Zhao Jianlin and Zhao Jianbo to death. They had allegedly organised a gang in 1995 for the purpose of committing crimes, the Renmin Gongan Bao paper reported. The same newspaper reported that Yi Hongjin and six accomplices were sentenced to death. From 1999 to August 2000, Yin organized others to commit homicides and assaults.
