Moh Chuan Pin, a 28-year-old blacksmith, was sentenced to death by the High Court for murdering a telecommunications equipment salesgirl in 2001. Judge Datuk Hassan Lah found Moh guilty of murdering Nor Ayanti Mat Radzi, 20, on April 30, 2001. On the day of the crime Moh was seen running from the shop with blood stains on him. He was chased and caught in possession of hand held phones belonging to the shop where a blood-stained knife was found.
